Finder magazine is a coming collaboration with Ruanna Owens (Ruanna Writes) exploring the world through sights and experiences.
The initial covers and layout are in the development stages. These conceptual magazine covers focus on striking images and engaging topics. A number of skills were utilized in Figma and Photoshop Express that bring the covers to life such as layering, texture mockups, photo editing, and color refinements.
In the inaugural Travel Series, Ruanna's expressive writing style will lead readers on a journey throughout Europe, bringing the locations to life as we explore Spain, Croatia, London, and the White Cliffs of Dover. Favorite local dives, events, shopping, food, wine and more will be inside of each issue. A musical soundtrack, so to speak, will also be featured in each issue, exposing the reader to new sounds that enhance their journey.
Locations that we have come to know and love will be explored in each of the issues. The focus will shift between our hidden favorites, the the urban beauty of destinations, and the natural spaces to unwind.
In a generation that is living in a digital age our hope is that finder Magazine will help foster a renewed engagement o the magazine format itself through thoughtful and engaging stories, and beautiful imagery. Finder will be a project of passion, joy, and inclusion.
Not only do we hope to have the readers feel like they are traveling alongside us, we also hope to inspire the reader to travel, explore, and have new experiences.
