Volunteer Work & Assets
Latinas in Tech (LiT) is a non-profit organization with the aim to connect, support, and empower Latina women working in tech since 2014. LiT works hand in hand with top technology companies to create safe spaces for learning, mentorship and recruitment. I am very thankful to volunteer my time to help create various assets used for the Silicon Valley Chapter events. Following brand guides and style sheets, I have been able to create easy-to-read and on-brand assets for events, announcements, and social media posts .
The first asset below was created as an Infographic to celebrate the achievements by the numbers for an end of the year post for the Silicon Valley Chapter. I worked closely with the Chapter Lead to create a graphic in Figma that we could covert to a Instagram post.
Latinas in Tech events are gathering spaces that take place online and in person. They are meant to help level up while connecting with other Latinas in the tech industry. Below are a few examples of how the assets I helped create in both Figma and Canva have been deployed across web, mobile, and Instagram.
